Ingredients:
- 500g T55 wheat flour
- 250g roasted pumpkin
- 50g butter
- 125g honey
- 25g fresh baker’s yeast
- 50ml warm milk
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 9g fine salt
Coverage:
- 1 egg
- Poppy seeds (to taste)
- Sesame seeds (to taste)
Preparation method:
First, dissolve the yeast in the milk. Now, blend the cooked pumpkin until you have a puree. Next, mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead. Form the dough into a ball, cover the bowl, and let it rest for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Then, divide the dough with a little flour into 12 balls, each weighing about 80g.
Now, place the balls in a greased and floured round pan and let it rest for another 30 minutes. Beat the egg and brush each ball with it. Finish by sprinkling some balls with poppy seeds and others with sesame seeds (to taste). Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
