- 3 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 4 apples, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation Method:
Start by blending the yoghurt, eggs, and sugar in a blender until smooth.
Then, add the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder, and blend again just until combined.
Grease a baking tin and dust it with sugar.
Pour in the batter and gently insert the apple slices upright into the mixture, spacing them evenly.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Once baked, allow to cool slightly. You may sprinkle extra cinnamon on top for extra aroma and flavour.
