Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of petit gâteau cake mix
  • 5 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup of passion fruit juice concentrate

Preparation:


In a large bowl, mix the cake mix with the melted butter and egg using a spatula. Stir until you get a thick, moist batter.

Gradually add the passion fruit juice concentrate, stirring continuously until the mixture becomes smooth and uniform.

Grease and flour petit gâteau moulds (ramekins or silicone muffin cups also work well), and fill them about ¾ of the way.

Place the moulds in a large baking dish. Add hot water to the dish to create a bain-marie (water bath), ensuring the water reaches about halfway up the sides of the moulds.

Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C for approximately 13 minutes, or until the tops appear just set and opaque, but the centres remain soft.

Remove from the oven, let rest for a minute, then unmould carefully.

Serve warm — ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of passion fruit syrup!
