How to do it
This Candy is one of the best budget meals you can make at home. Simple, fast, and made with ingredients you already have — ideal for beginners or anyone planning affordable family dinners. Let’s cook smarter, not harder.
See the ingredients:
- 1 can of peaches in syrup (drain and reserve the syrup)
- 400g of biscuits (ladyfingers, milk biscuits, or Maizena-style)
- 1 small pack (100g) of shredded or flaked coconut
- 1 cup (tea) of milk for soaking the biscuits
- For the White Cream:
- 1 liter of whole milk
- 1 can or box of sweetened condensed milk (395g)
- 1 box of heavy cream (200g)
- 3 egg yolks
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch (Maizena)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Reserved peach syrup (from the can)
Preparation Method:
White Cream:
First, strain the egg yolks and place them in a saucepan. Add the milk, cornstarch, vanilla extract, reserved peach syrup, and condensed milk. Mix well and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.
Once boiling, stir for another minute, then remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream until fully combined.
Assembly:
Chop the peaches into small cubes, reserving a few slices for decoration.
In a glass dish, start with a layer of white cream, then add a layer of chopped peaches. Quickly dip the biscuits in milk and create a biscuit layer over the fruit.
Repeat the layers—cream, peaches, and soaked biscuits—until finishing with a layer of cream on top.
Sprinkle shredded coconut over the final layer and decorate with the reserved peach slices. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Your peach trifle is ready—serve chilled and enjoy!
